We are seeking an Audience Architect & platform owner to help SAP deliver consistent, scalable, and personalized marketing experiences across our ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across marketing, data, and technology to translate audience requirements into actionable, technically sound audience builds. By connecting systems and insights, you will ensure segmentation and activation strategies are consistent, measurable, and effective across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business and technical/data requirements into cross‑platform audience definitions, building audiences hands‑on across systems such as Adobe Audience Manager (AAM), Customer Data Platform (CDP), and Adobe Target.
  • Lead the definition of technical requirements that support the audience platform landscape, ensuring systems, data, and processes enable efficient and compliant audience management.
  • Design holistic audience logic to maintain consistency in segmentation and activation across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Own the creation of new traits, segments, and activation flows in AAM, CDP, and Adobe Target, ensuring precision and scalability.
  • Develop and operationalize personalization frameworks using integrated technologies to drive tailored customer experiences.
  • Stay informed on industry best practices in audience management and personalization, ensuring SAP’s audience activation remains cutting‑edge and compliant.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in audience management, digital marketing operations, or marketing technology.
  • Hands‑on expertise with Adobe Audience Manager (AAM), Adobe Target, including trait and segment creation, taxonomy management, data source integration, and destination activation.
  • Proven experience implementing personalization strategies, ensuring relevance and scalability across channels.
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation principles, first‑ and third‑party data usage, and cross‑channel activation best practices.
  • Familiarity with Marketo, data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and marketing governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across marketing, data, and engineering teams.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in audience definitions and documentation.

Compensation Range Transparency
SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step towards demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 100000 - 216000 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent on the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through this selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
