We are seeking a Mission Critical A/V Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced audio-visual systems in highly specialized environments such as emergency operations centers, data centers, and control rooms. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in AV technology, networking, and cybersecurity, ensuring reliable and secure system performance in mission‑critical settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement audio-visual systems tailored to mission‑critical environments
• Oversee installation and integration of AV equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability
• Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for AV systems
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration with IT and network infrastructure
• Apply cybersecurity best practices to safeguard AV systems and connected networks
• Document system designs, configurations, and maintenance procedures
• Stay current with emerging AV technologies and industry standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in audio‑visual engineering, with emphasis on mission‑critical environments
• Strong knowledge of AV technologies, including video conferencing, signal processing, and control systems
• Proficiency in networking concepts (LAN/WAN, Cisco, routing, switching)
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure in high‑stakes environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
