Our Assistant Video / Motion Graphics Editor at Noble Studios is tasked with editing a wide range of videos and animations for a diverse and growing list of clients across our key verticals including B2B, travel, and tourism. This position is part of the Brand Experience team—balancing storytelling skills and creative thinking with production know-how for traditional and social channels. The role requires being part assistant video editor, part motion graphics aficionado, and part storyteller.
Reporting to our Senior Video & Motion Graphics Editor, you will work on case study videos, sizzle reels, social videos, long‑form SEO videos, and creative campaign videos. You will own a project from selection to final export and will work extensively with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects. Your goal is to craft videos that delight and convert.
Responsibilities
- Read and work under the direction of the Senior Video and Motion Graphics Editor to conceptualize, execute, and consistently produce high‑quality, standout videos.
- Perform traditional assistant video editor tasks: set up video projects, log and tag footage, organize projects in Premiere or After Effects, make footage selections, back up footage and projects, resize videos, and work on final exports for social media, streaming services, TV, and more.
- Help manage the storage and backup of all video files, project files, graphics files, licenses, etc.
- Support hands‑on work at every stage of the video project lifecycle, from estimating and set‑up to execution, producer‑related tasks, brainstorming creative concepts, and brand expression through video.
- Create dynamic and original brand animations.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Collaborate with the Brand Experience team to establish storyboards, shot lists, wardrobe, and props.
- Work with our creative directors to source and select music for videos, source and direct voice‑over talent, etc.
- Maintain a strong eye for quality with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Help build the agency’s internal video team into a smooth‑running, high‑level unit that performs all video‑related tasks for the agency.
- Show strong interest in innovation, including exploring AI tools to improve our work.
Minimum Requirements
- Four‑year degree in visual communication, video, film, graphic design, or a related field.
- 1‑2 years of video editing and/or motion graphics experience at a digital agency, production house, or similar setting.
- Basic animation skills required; expertise in 3‑D programs such as Cinema 4D is a plus.
- Online portfolio showcasing your video and animation work.
- Strong storytelling skills and sense of video vision and style.
- Passion for music and how it drives video narration.
- Understanding of how to use video editing and motion graphics to drive engagement and conversions.
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Working knowledge of Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Working sound‑design knowledge using Adobe Premiere or Audition.
- Strong teamwork skills and a low ego—the ability to collaborate closely with project teams, copywriters, and designers to create award‑winning work for global brands.
- Self‑motivated, hard‑working, and able to meet deadlines.
- Must live in the Reno, NV area or be willing to relocate and regularly access the Reno office for hard‑drive backup tasks.

- The chance to work for an award‑winning, industry‑leading employer with innovative clients worldwide (Travel Nevada, Visit Lake Tahoe, Yodlee, and others).
- Opportunity to dream big while staying local.
- An exceptional benefits package and a workplace emphasis on ongoing learning and growth through guest speakers, workshops, and round‑table discussions.
- A “see‑it‑to‑believe‑it” time‑off policy: two company‑wide paid weeks off each year (one week in July, one in December) plus 10 days of personal PTO and all paid company‑observed holidays.
- The ability to work remotely or from home near our headquarters in Reno, Nevada.
