Freelance Social Media & Influencer Marketing Coordinator

This freelance role is for the Beauty and Personal Care industry, based in Los Angeles, CA. The assignment lasts 6 months to 1 year.

Base pay: $25.00/hr. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by WorkGenius.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing monthly social media calendars and strategies for product launches and key cultural moments, ensuring alignment across marketing touchpoints.
• Manage scheduling, tagging, and publishing across platforms.
• Create and adapt content for Stories, Reels, and posts, including writing captions that reflect brand voice.
• Support organic influencer gifting by identifying creators, coordinating outreach, and managing shipments.
• Help grow and maintain a pool of influencers, tracking key moments and maintaining relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, or Advertising from an accredited college.
• 0–2 years of experience in a related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and Twitter.
• Demonstrated passion for social media and content creation.
