Position Summary Information Job Description Summary The purpose of this position is to serve as second-in-command on Del Mar’s student newspaper, the Foghorn News.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of volunteers and other paid student assistants.
• Write stories, design pages, shoot photos and produce videos.

Qualifications

• Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
• Preferred: Experience with a college publication or other news publication.
• Graphic artist experience a plus.
• Knowledge of AP style preferred.
• Ability to use InDesign and Photoshop programs preferred.
• Skilled in video editing preferred.
