Lobeline Communications, LLC is a public relations and communications firm that delivers strategic, results‑oriented solutions customized for each client. We thrive on quality, creativity, and impactful results across lifestyle, celebrity, sports, restaurant/hospitality, and entertainment sectors. This position is a full‑time, hybrid (3‑4 days in office, 1‑2 days remote) role with a starting salary of $60,000–$70,000 per year, reviewed after 90 days.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4–6 years of post‑college experience in public relations, including several years as a day‑to‑day account lead.
  • Track record of working with high‑profile managers, producers, talent, and executives.
  • Established media relationships with lifestyle, music, entertainment, and general beat writers, editors, and freelancers—regionally and nationally—capable of securing consistent, high‑quality coverage.
  • Excellent AP‑style writing and grammatical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, judgment, problem‑solving skills, and a collaborative nature.
  • Creative thinker who thrives on generating new ideas or improving existing ones.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to balance multiple projects concurrently while prioritizing and taking ownership.
  • Resilient under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends occasionally.
  • Proficiency with Muck Rack, Cision, and Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Deep knowledge of the entertainment industry and its media outlets.
  • Experience with HubSpot is a plus; training will be provided if needed.

DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the day‑to‑day lead on client accounts in partnership with the PR Director.
  • Maintain a high‑quality client experience through timely communication and proactive issue resolution.
  • Represent clients at media interviews and appearances with a positive, upbeat attitude.
  • Lead bi‑weekly client meetings or calls, anticipating issues and providing strategic insight.
  • Collaborate with leadership to draft client strategies and associated documents.
  • Manage execution of client strategies, ensuring action items are fulfilled ahead of deadlines.
  • Draft pitches, press releases, and other deliverables as required.
  • Coordinate media events from start to finish, including run‑of‑shows and on‑site event management.
  • Track industry trends, competition, and media coverage relevant to each client.
  • Generate bi‑weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on PR tactics and competitive activity.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with key media members locally, regionally, and nationally.
  • Develop new media relationships continuously.
  • Update media relations strategy to ensure a steady flow of coverage throughout campaigns.
  • Prepare press kit documents and collateral that reflect each client’s brand standards.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all media coverage to clients in a manner that highlights agency expertise.
  • Manage media lists via Google Sheets, editorial calendars, and tools such as Cision or Muck Rack.
  • Incorporate social media and influencer relations into traditional communication strategies.
