What We're Looking For

A Discoverability Manager, Organic Search at VML executes organic search analysis, discovery, execution, and performance reporting of search engine optimization strategy and deliverables for clients. This role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive Organic Search strategies, conducting in‑depth analysis, and providing expert recommendations to improve online visibility and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic recommendations for improving Organic Search on websites at various stages of development
  • Conduct keyword research utilizing leading industry tools
  • Analyze and optimize on‑page Organic Search signals such as titles, descriptions, copy, images, and internal links
  • Create and deliver monthly organic search performance reports
  • Conduct comprehensive Organic Search site audits and competitive analyses
  • Provide recommendations for non‑website digital assets like video Connections, social media profiles, local listings, and vertical directories
  • Evaluate and present organic search findings and recommendations for implementation
  • Document client history, processes, contact information, major initiatives, past recommendations, projects, and site changes
  • Deliver effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for teams and clients
  • Work with account teams and clients to understand and document business, technical, and reporting requirements, and develop solutions to ensure success
  • Help global clients expand their knowledge and use of search engine optimization and drive internal client user adoption
  • Provide guidance on the implementation and use of white‑hat Organic Search strategies
  • Attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and organizational development
  • Stay current on the constantly changing search and technology industry and inform clients about new developments that impact them

Who You Are

  • Resourceful and a lifelong learner who is receptive to feedback

What You Bring

  • 1‑3 years of experience working in Search Engine Optimization (Organic Search); agency experience is ideal but not required
  • Experience with common Organic Search tools such as Semrush, Moz Analytics, BrightEdge, SearchMetrics, etc.
  • Strong research skills
  • Basic knowledge of Web Analytics, HTML, basic Excel, Keynote or PowerPoint, and AI platforms

Compensation

Base salary range: $45,000—$100,000 USD. Individual compensation varies based on job‑related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.

Work Environment
