Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is looking for a highly motivated Video Producer to join the Communications Division within the Executive Bureau. Under the supervision of the Digital Director, this individual will produce creative and engaging video content across the Office’s digital platforms to communicate updates and key priorities.
Primary Duties
The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ideas from the early pitch process through a final edit, equally comfortable brainstorming content for Reels as they are Direct‑to‑Camera updates or longform explainers, and filming in the field. They should be creative, technically skilled, and unafraid to try new, creative ideas.
- Produce multiple videos weekly for the AGO’s social media platforms with an eye towards vertical video.
- Collaborate with the Digital Director to ensure video content is aligned with the AGO’s messaging and digital priorities.
- Script and produce direct‑to‑camera and explainer content.
- Source and edit footage from live streams, news coverage, and events.
- Stay on top of emerging trends, memes, and storytelling formats to keep the AGO’s communications relevant.
- Edit short and long‑form video content through the Adobe Creative Suite.
Position Type
Full‑time/Exempt. Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions. On in‑office days, employees are required to report to one of our designated office locations, either in Boston or at a regional office.
Salary
$70,000 – $75,000

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience in video production and/or editing.
- Familiarity with DSLR cameras, lighting setups, microphones, teleprompters, monitors,.
- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere required and After Effects, preferred.
- Understanding of social media platforms and video trends, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
- Proven ability to independently manage projects from concept to delivery.
- Experience covering events and working in fast‑paced, ever‑changing environments.
- Effective organizational, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Ability to learn new software, troubleshoot errors, and manage production equipment, computer hardware, and other devices.
- Interest in social justice, journalism, public service, law, or government.
- Ability to work some nights and weekends.
- A valid Massachusetts driver’s license is preferred, as travel may be required.
