Seeking to hire a Web Developer in Vernon Hills, IL.

Duties:

• Build and optimize a secure web page for evolving business needs.
• Provide continued support for one or more web properties.
• Maintain communication with team members and supervisors concerning the direction of the website.
• Code and script applications.
• Perform routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance, on an as-needed basis.

Position Qualifications

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
• Strong understanding of features and utility functions of jQuery
• Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Ability to adapt various jQuery features, such as “$.ajax”, to specific needs
• Basic understanding of page layout with Bootstrap
• Basic understanding of SQL is a plus
• Basic understanding of PHP
• To be able to crop, resize, or make minor modifications to a picture, you should have a basic understanding of Photoshop.
• Ability to manipulate DOM using JavaScript

Compensation Range

$31.25 – $40.85 Hourly
