Our team builds user centric B2B and POC digital products for a high-profile media company. We work in a deeply collaborative environment with designers across multiple projects and business units. Your role as a Lead Product Designer is a rewarding position with the opportunity to create and improve the digital products that run our company; from internal operations to external facing sites that encompass brands such as DC Comics and Studio Tours. You will have opportunities to network with multiple teams cross-functionally.
Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role
- UX/UI Design: Translate complex business needs and user research insights into wireframes, high fidelity interactive prototypes and production ready assets.
- Leverage and contribute to design systems to create native experiences across web and mobile.

Deeply empathize with users while conducting primary user research to uncover unmet needs, pain points and motivations. Identify key patterns and trends from user interviews, feedback, and data. Synthesize and present research outputs through thematic insights, user journeys, workflows, and similar artifacts. Conceive and facilitate internal workshops using Design Thinking methodologies to guide teams from ideation to prototyping.
- Design Systems: Leverage design systems within Figma to ensure consistency and scalability across projects.
- Advanced Prototyping: Apply knowledge in variables, conditionals, and expressions to create more interactive and complex prototypes, reducing the number of frames and interactions needed. Use components (including master components, instance components, and variants) to create reusable elements across projects, ensuring consistency and streamlining the design process. Master Auto Layout for consistent spacing and alignment, adapting to changes in content or element placement for responsive designs and complex layouts.
