MGSA – Department of Art & Design – Spring 2026
Position for part‑time instructional and academic support in undergraduate and graduate courses. Successful applicants will staff courses in a demonstrated specialization content area; the majority of appointments are located in Downtown New Brunswick and sculpture appointments in Piscataway.
Salary & Benefits
Minimum: $2,777 per credit. Final salary determined by qualifications, experience, and department or grant funds. Qualifications
- Master of Fine Arts or equivalent in the area of practice.
- At least one year of relevant teaching experience.
- Strong pedagogical, organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills. >
- Graduate‑level teaching experience.
- Faculty mentorship or curriculum development experience.
- Proficiency with studio equipment and technology.
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the assigned specialization.
- Prepare and deliver instruction, including the development of course materials and assessments.
- Grade assignments and provide feedback to students.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in departmental committees.
- Assist in curriculum development and course evaluation.
- Maintain studio or lab environments as required.
