AI Talent Acquisition Lead | Founding Product Designer
Base pay range: $220,000.00/yr – $280,000.00/yr
We are an advanced AI research and product organization developing transformative tools for hardware and chip design. Our mission is to reinvent how complex hardware is created. We are hiring a Founding Product Designer to define the visual, interaction, and product foundation of our core AI‑native developer platform.
Responsibilities You will lead the end‑to‑end design of a next‑generation AI developer platform built for hardware and chip engineers. This includes architecting interaction models, visual systems, and polished production UI for data‑dense, tool‑heavy workflows. You’ll translate complex AI behavior, agent reasoning, and engineering logic into elegant, intuitive experiences, set the design language and creative direction for the entire product, and work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with engineering and ML teams to shape the future of hardware tool‑making.
Qualifications
4+ years designing end‑to‑end experiences for technical or developer‑facing products
Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, exceptional visual craft, and strong product intuition
Expertise in Figma (or similar) for complex workflows and prototyping
Strong grasp of UX for data‑dense tools, IDE‑like environments, or productivity platforms
Ability to translate abstract AI capabilities into concrete interaction patterns
High‑caliber visual and typographic skills, with attention to aesthetic detail
Comfortable collaborating deeply with engineers in an early‑stage environment
Nice to Have
Experience designing AI‑powered tools, agent interfaces, or developer workflows
Demonstrated ability to implement designs directly (design‑engineer profile)
Background in early‑stage, design‑centric, or deep‑tech startups
Interest in chip design, hardware tools, or technical creative software
