The Platform Content Experience (CX) team is responsible for the innovative content that makes it easier for customers to build and manage Salesforce experiences. We create Help topics, developer guides, release notes, videos, Trailhead modules, and more.
Responsibilities
Work with your team and stakeholders to determine direction and priorities for your content area and make smart tradeoffs when those priorities evolve.
Champion a user‑centric approach to content development, ensuring your content is intuitive, findable, and meets the needs of varied audiences.
Create a variety of content types aligned with CX guidelines, as required for customer success.
Track and report on work to provide visibility and alignment across the team and to stakeholders.
Monitor content performance to identify opportunities for content and process improvement.
Required Skills / Experience
5+ years of experience creating software documentation
Demonstrated English writing skills for a technical audience, with writing samples
Great people and communication skills and a strong team player
Focus on quality and details, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly
Comfort with working on multiple projects at once
Experience with source control software such as GitHub and markup languages such as Markdown
Experience with generative AI and LLM‑based solutions and authoring environments such as Visual Studio Code or Oxygen
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field, English, Journalism, or similar
Desired Skills / Experience
Experience with app marketplaces
Experience writing for an independent software vendor (ISV) audience
Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack
Familiarity with Salesforce products, ecosystem, and infrastructure

For Washington‑based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.
For California‑based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $169,600 to $233,200.
