Senior Marketing & Proposal Coordinator
Location: Oak Brook, IL or Downtown Chicago, IL.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Coordinate and lead all aspects of the competitive proposal preparation – from Go/No‑Go strategy and initial planning through delivery and post‑award, including internal and client debriefs on wins or losses.
Review and hone messages and win themes within written and visual information for client presentations.
Draft content such as introduction, win themes, proof statements, relevant experience, project teams, and organizational charts.
Overall responsibility for proposal/SOQ criteria and compliance, oversee production, and arrange for on‑time deliveries.
Develop scheduling and tracking systems for individual pursuit and proposal elements and coordinate distribution of input from key technical leads and decision makers.
Develop systems to extract, categorize, and retrieve information related to markets, clients, consultants, personnel, projects, prior proposals, boilerplate, visuals, and mailing lists.
Identify business development leaders and help connect seller‑doers across disciplines.
Track business development opportunities via the Client Relationship Management system.
Assist technical and marketing leads with research related to prior pursuit RFP/evaluation panel questions and answers.
In partnership with marketing managers and subject matter experts, develop qualification, proposal, and presentation messaging and content.
Coordinate quality control efforts for business development processes.
Assist with seller‑doer training and mentoring activities related to marketing and proposals.
Improve targeted client relationships and market growth initiatives.
Identify areas where branding and marketing materials need creation or refresh.
Oversee routine marketing collateral management.
Develop branded presentations with targeted messaging.
Conduct targeted market research to understand preferences of target audiences, drivers, competitors, and opportunities.
Identify marketing candidates for office and local‑regional needs.
Analyze research data related to clients, competitors, markets and present findings to leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience, or 6 years of marketing experience (required).
SMPS and/or APMP memberships (preferred).
Prior experience leading proposal teams (required).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Visio, Word, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe InDesign (required).
Familiarity with graphic design, desktop publishing, and presentation software (preferred).
Understanding of the RFQ/RFP process, evaluation techniques, procurement procedures, and marketing plan development (required).
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret marketing, technical, and other business documents (required).
Ability to interview technical practitioners for marketing materials and proposals (required).
Ability to author well‑written and organized marketing materials and correspondence that furthers the Geosyntec brand (required).
Ability to create effective presentations and respond to inquiries from internal and external clients (required).
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public (required).
Ability to write in a marketing and/or journalistic manner (required).
Valid U.S. driver’s license and satisfactory driving record for business travel (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits Minimum: $31.07/hour / Maximum: $43.50/hour (Chicago, IL, Oak Brook, IL).
