What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem‑solving and de‑escalation techniques when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor and employee entry to help deter unauthorized access.
Write detailed incident reports and log security‑related activities as required by site protocols.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings while performing patrols within a technology/media/telecom environment, adapting to changing site conditions as needed.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security‑related concerns professionally.
Minimum Requirements
At least 21 years of age (18 for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles).
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation, drug screen (within legal limits), and any licensing requirements resulting from state or local laws.
