Job Description: Addison Group is seeking a
Prior Authorization Specialist
to join our client’s business office team in Dallas, TX. This contract-to-hire role focuses on securing prior authorizations for diagnostic and infusion services while supporting other revenue cycle functions as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Process prior authorizations for MRIs, infusions, and EEGs Handle 30–40 authorizations per day with accuracy and timeliness Assist financial counseling team and cover other RCM tasks when needed Take patient calls to answer questions and provide scheduling support Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications: Prior authorization experience required (infusion experience strongly preferred) Familiarity with ECW (eClinicalWorks) or similar EMR systems Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume tasks Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Previous experience in a physician office setting preferred
