Digital Marketing Contractor Duration: 4 months Location: Hybrid (Old East Dallas Office | Mon/Tues/Thurs In-Office) About the Role Champion is an award-winning PR & Digital Media Agency specializing in the restaurant and food & beverage space — meaning our work is fun, flavorful and fulFILLING (yes, we went there). We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist with 4+ years of paid media experience in an agency or brand-side environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑obsessed, thrives in fast-moving environments, and is passionate about performance-based marketing across Meta, Google, YouTube and more. This role is hands‑on strategy + execution. You’ll work across multiple brands, lead campaign planning, launch and optimize paid media programs, and consistently translate data into insights and recommendations. We offer competitive pay, great team culture, and a hybrid schedule (three in‑office days per week: Mon/Tues/Thurs). What Success Looks Like in This Role
You’re not just “running ads” — you are driving outcomes. Success in this role is measured by: Campaign Performance Client Satisfaction On‑time deliverables, strategic clarity, strong and proactive communication Budget Management Accurate pacing, efficient spend allocation, ability to scale when performance is strong A/B testing learnings, improvement in engagement, click‑through, and conversion performance Reporting & Insight Clear monthly reporting, data‑backed recommendations, actionable strategic next steps Key Responsibilities
Manage 5 – 7 consumer brand accounts, developing and executing full‑funnel digital marketing campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, and other paid and organic platforms. Plan, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns to drive traffic, conversions, and customer retention – tracking KPIs like ROAS, CTR, CPC, and CPA. Collaborate with design and content teams to concept and test high‑performing creative and copy that connect with audiences and elevate brand storytelling. Ensure alignment across all digital touchpoints – focusing on paid social and paid search – delivering cohesive consumer experiences that drive engagement and loyalty. Monitor campaign performance, analyze trends, and translate data into actionable insights and monthly reports with strategic recommendations. Continuously test creative, audiences, and ad formats to improve campaign efficiency and scale growth. Act as the digital marketing lead for each assigned brand, maintaining strong client communication and proactively recommending new opportunities for growth. Track budgets, manage daily pacing, and ensure all campaigns stay within approved spend limits. Qualifications
4+ years of experience in consumer digital marketing or paid media management required (agency or brand side). Strong proficiency across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics (GA4). Proven experience driving measurable results in eCommerce, retail, QSR, or hospitality industries. Strong understanding of audience segmentation, funnel strategy, and conversion optimization. Exceptional analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategy. Strong communication and presentation skills — able to confidently explain campaign impact, insights and recommendations. Self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced environments and can manage multiple projects independently. Preferred Skills
Experience managing digital campaigns for restaurant, retail, or CPG brands. Knowledge of email marketing, influencer partnerships, or organic social strategy. Google Ads or Meta Blueprint Certification. Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, or other digital marketing platforms. Compensation
Competitive hourly or project‑based rate, commensurate with experience.
