Job Description Summary Support and assist the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community. Responsibilities include accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close‑out and financial reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, completing bank deposits and reconciliations, and using the property management software to record, track, and report all financial activity.

Job Description

Complete daily financial transactions: collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits; reconcile bank accounts; process invoices and payables.

Operate Yardi/OneSite software, ensuring accurate data entry, system updates, and backups.

Review resident files to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease provisions to maximize revenue.

Approve and reconcile vendor invoices, code charges to the correct Chart of Account, and manage communication among vendors, accounting, and clients/owners.

Follow company eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representations.

Process resident move‑outs, applying deposit and cancellation fees per lease terms and legal requirements.

Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints and questions in a timely manner and resolving service issues.

Act as on‑site supervisor in the manager’s absence: organize daily work, coordinate maintenance tasks, and oversee community operations in compliance with company policies.

Assist in client/owner relationships by conducting tours, providing performance updates, and responding to owner requests.

Compensation Hourly range: $23.00 – $25.00

Additional Compensation

Corporate positions: quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

On‑site property positions: weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
