Burlington Middle School
and
Burlington High School . Burlington High School enrolls approximately 260 students, with over 90% actively involved in athletics and activities. Each building has around 50 staff members, creating a close-knit environment that fosters professional collaboration, strong support systems, opportunities for growth, and meaningful relationships with students and families. Successful candidates are expected to:
Create and maintain a
creative, innovative, and inviting library environment
for students and staff. Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the library collections and circulation systems at both the middle school and high school, with the support of a library clerk. Oversee purchasing, cataloging, promoting, circulating, repairing, shelving, inventorying, and weeding of library materials. Teach a
5th-grade library skills rotation
at the middle school as scheduled. Collaborate with teachers to support classroom lessons, research units, and student projects. Provide a welcoming and accessible space for students and staff throughout the school day. Assist students positively with questions, book selection, printing needs, and minor laptop issues.
