As Social Media Content Creator, you'll be responsible for creating engaging, high‑performing content that captures both the lifestyle and products of Alabaster. You'll film behind‑the‑scenes moments in the office, create day‑in‑the‑life content, showcase our products in use, and make short‑form videos that both inspire and sell — whether it's for organic engagement, TikTok Shop, or paid ads. This is a fast‑moving, highly creative role for someone who's equal parts creator, storyteller, and strategist.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a visible, on‑camera presence across Alabaster’s TikTok and Instagram
Film and produce short‑form content (Reels/TikToks) focused on:

Behind the scenes with our team
Lifestyle content featuring our books
Product‑focused videos that educate, entertain, and sell
Create content that drives engagement and performance — optimized for use in TikTok Shop, Meta ads, and other growth channels
Brainstorm and execute creative concepts tied to seasonal campaigns, launches, or current trends
Write short‑form scripts and captions with strong hooks, clear value, and product messaging
Analyze content performance to improve future videos — using data to guide creative decisions
Collaborate with our branding, performance, and affiliate teams to create cohesive campaigns and briefs
Requirements
Strong on‑camera presence: confident, warm, and natural — and people genuinely enjoy watching you
Skilled content producer: you can shoot, edit, and post engaging short‑form content end‑to‑end, using just an iPhone and your instincts
Product + lifestyle storyteller: you know how to position a product organically while making it feel personal, aspirational, and relevant
Experienced Creator: you understand how to create content that converts — not just for likes, but for sales
Trend‑aware & culture‑savvy: you’re plugged into TikTok/IG trends and understand what makes people stop scrolling

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience
