Job Title: Senior Marketing Coordinator
Reports To: Senior Marketing Manager
Location: Los Angeles, Newport Beach, San Diego, CA or Las Vegas, NV
Position Summary McCarthy is looking for a hands‑on, collaborative, and passionate senior marketing professional to assist our Southern Pacific Region with a variety of marketing activities. Responsibilities will include development of qualification, proposal, and presentation materials; technical writing; graphic design; event planning; and database management. This position will work closely with the regional Marketing and Business Development teams in Newport Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas to support the development of client relationships and competitive procurement of major construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Works closely with business development to lead project kick‑off meetings, strategy development, RFQ/RFP responses, and interview preparation.
Coordinates, manages, and produces multiple deliverables for various groups simultaneously, including operations and regional departments.
Strategizes and develops marketing materials, internal and external presentations/video, digital content, event support, award submissions, brochures, presentations, client meeting materials, and more.
Manages the project qualification and proposal process, including coordinating the collection of project‑specific information and developing proposal content and other requirements to meet RFP guidelines and target assignment dates.
Creates and maintains proposal graphics and boilerplate narratives in Adobe Suite.
Contributes and leads internal/external events, including seminars, trade shows, conferences, client appreciation events, golf tournaments, and community outreach.
Maintains CRM database, including maintenance and data integrity of opportunities, projects, employees, clients, text library, project references, and contacts along with mailing and special event details.
Qualifications And Technical Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field required
5+ years of experience in similar roles preparing proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral
In‑depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, and After Effects
Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
Experience with CRM database management systems
Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills
Strengths and Talents
Positive attitude, team player with strong work ethic
Ability to work under pressure, excelling at meeting tight deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to prioritize and manage workload; juggle multiple projects
Exceptional written and verbal skills
Graphics capabilities with a good eye for design

The salary range for this position is: $90,000-120,000. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation.
