Overview Audacy Wichita is looking for a part-time, fill-in, On-Air Personality for its music stations. Must live in Wichita. Previous Radio experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
Communicate with co-host, producer and program director to ensure program goals are met
Interact with the audience on-air and via social media
Maintain strong contacts and relationships with local sports brands and across the sports industry
Create content for website and social media channels
Prepare and research for broadcasts
Protect brand with FCC license
Ensuring that promotions and contests are executed properly
Making personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
Other duties as required by management.
Knowledge of Kansas-area Sports and National Sports
Entertainment value with content creation
Sales coordination with clients
Be able to work weekdays
Qualifications
Synergy with co-host and ability to work on multi-host sports show
Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills
Knowledge of the format and audience required
A demonstrated track record on air or through digital media
Knowledgeable of FCC guidelines
On air experience
Work weekday show on an as-needed basis as a fill-in host
