AirData.com provides drone pilots and operators an online UAV fleet management platform. We are a small team headquartered in El Dorado Hills, California, serving customers around the world.
Drones are quickly becoming a critical part of infrastructure that solves problems safely and with fewer resources. AirData is the largest and fastest-growing fleet management platform, providing crash prevention information and live streaming for pilots and operators around the world.
We are seeking a creative and strategic marketing professional who will play a pivotal role in expanding AirData’s market presence. As our Marketing Manager, you’ll develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive growth, from managing multi‑channel campaigns to creating compelling content that resonates with drone operators worldwide. You’ll work collaboratively across our team to position AirData as the go‑to solution for UAV fleet management.
What you’ll do Drive Strategic Marketing Initiatives
Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with AirData’s growth goals, including lead generation, trial conversions, and customer acquisition
Plan go‑to‑market strategies for new product features and platform updates
Conduct ongoing market research to stay current with emerging trends in the drone industry and inform initiatives based on customer needs and regulatory changes
Align with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure consistent messaging
Define and refine Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas in order to segment audiences and personalize outreach for maximum impact
Digital Marketing & Campaigns
Plan, execute, and optimize multi‑channel advertising campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, DroneLife, UAS Vision, and other industry‑specific channels
Manage A/B testing on ads and landing pages to improve performance
Track and report on key metrics, including CAC, ROI, MQLs, signups and conversions
Manage the press release creation and distribution process, coordinating with partners and stakeholders in the drone industry
Content Creation & SEO
Create and oversee compelling content including blog posts, newsletters, case studies, social media posts, and landing pages
Optimize website content and landing pages for SEO and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
Collaborate on lead magnets such as eBooks, webinars, and free trial campaigns
Develop social media graphics and creative assets (design skills are a strong plus, though we also work with external designers)
Events & Partnership Marketing
Support the team in coordinating event research, attendance and logistics
Develop campaigns in support of trade shows, webinars, and other industry events
Coordinate with resellers and partners on co‑marketing initiatives
Design and implement creative promotional campaigns to drive partner engagement
Who we’re looking for
You have 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally with SaaS or B2B companies
You’re a strategic thinker who can also roll up your sleeves and execute tactical campaigns
You’re comfortable working across multiple marketing channels and can adapt quickly to new platforms and tools
You have strong writing skills and can explain complex technical concepts in accessible ways
You enjoy coordinating events and negotiate unique and creative opportunities for brand awareness
You thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and enjoy working cross‑functionally with small teams
Graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, or similar tools) are a strong plus
If you have experience in the commercial drone or aviation industry - that’s great!
