About the Role Cheqroom is looking for a creative and strategic Content Creator to own and scale our brand storytelling across social and digital channels. You’ll be the voice and visual engine of our brand, creating content that makes people

stop scrolling ,

feel something ,

learn something , and

want to take action .

This isn’t your average content role. You’ll create snackable videos, bold social posts, and scroll-stopping content. But you’ll also

own the social strategy ,

spot trends , and

collaborate across the team

to position Cheqroom as the go-to brand in equipment operations.

What You’ll Do

Own Cheqroom’s social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, from strategy, to planning, execution, and reporting

Create engaging content that entertains, educates, inspires, and converts: social posts, short/long‑form videos, downloadable pieces, newsletters, carousels, stories, memes, and more

Think and speak in video: Concept, storyboard, write, and collaborate with video creators, or even shoot and edit simple social videos yourself

Spot trends and act fast: Stay plugged into industry news, creator culture, and equipment ops chatter, and translate insights into relevant, timely content

Craft and tell stories: Highlight our customers, team, and products through emotionally resonant storytelling

Collaborate cross‑functionally with the Growth Marketer, Technical Content Lead, Video Team, and Marketing Coordinator to ensure consistency and impact across the full funnel

Champion our voice: Build brand awareness, drive engagement, and create a sense of community with our audience of equipment managers, coordinators, and technicians

Strategize & scale: Help build and execute a social and content strategy that drives measurable growth

What We're Looking For

2–4+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or storytelling roles, ideally in a B2B or creator‑savvy environment

A portfolio of content that makes people feel something: short‑form videos, social campaigns, memes, carousels, storytelling formats

Strong creative instincts: You understand what performs and why, and you’re not afraid to push the boundaries of format and tone

Basic video chops: Whether it’s TikTok, Reels, or Loom, you’re comfortable scripting, shooting, or editing short videos (or learning to)

Curious & trend‑savvy: You love learning, researching, and finding the golden insight that turns into a killer piece of content

Strategic thinking: You know how to build a content calendar, track performance, and refine based on what works

Collaborative spirit: You thrive in cross‑functional teams and love bouncing ideas off creatives, marketers, and product thinkers

Bonus Points

Experience working with video tools (CapCut, Descript, Adobe Rush, Canva, etc.)

Familiarity with equipment‑intensive industries (film, AV, education, live events)

A strong personal brand or content presence

Experience with content SEO or repurposing long‑form content into short‑form assets
