Technical Manual Writer – THAAD KSA
Location: Huntsville, AL, 35806 USA.
Responsibilities
Assess engineering data for impacts to existing technical content.
Develop Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and other documentation, including material addressing system functional theory, operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, schematics and illustrated parts breakdowns from compiled engineering technical reports, drawings, and parts lists.
Coordinate and support all Safety and Engineering Peer Reviews of TMs.
Coordinate and support all Validation requirements and events.
Conduct quality review of materials.
Required Qualifications
A university degree (or equivalent) and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 5 years of experience.
Experience creating or editing written technical documentation in a military or civilian environment.
Experience independently analyzing technical documentation.
Experience setting guidelines and standards.
Active U.S. government issued
SECRET
level security clearance prior to start date (U.S. citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the Eagle Publishing System, MIL Standard 40051 or S1000D.
Experience supporting projects in an Agile environment and an Agile mindset.
Experience working in a cross‑functional team with strong communication in a geographically dispersed setting.
Ability to mentor newer team members.
Knowledgeable on organizational maintenance and remove/rereplace techniques.
Knowledgeable with radar theory and radar propagation.
Technical aptitude and self‑driven.
Travel This role requires travel up to 20%.

clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
