About the Role

As VP of Marketing at ShipIn, you will set and drive the global marketing vision and strategy for a fast-growing AI Maritime SaaS company. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand, fueling pipeline growth, and building the infrastructure for scalable, insight-driven marketing. You will lead a diverse team across demand generation, content, field marketing, digital, and community engagement, ensuring tight alignment with Sales, Product, and Customer Success. Beyond strategy, you’ll build and operationalize cross‑functional processes that enable predictable growth, effective market positioning, and long‑term customer engagement.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for a marketing executive who thrives on balancing vision with execution, and who has successfully scaled B2B SaaS marketing organizations through multiple cycles of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead ShipIn’s global marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals for revenue, pipeline, and market expansion
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high‑performing marketing organization across multiple disciplines (demand gen, content, events, digital, and community)
  • Drive ABM strategy and execution in close partnership with Sales, including segmentation, orchestration, and performance measurement
  • Own and evolve ShipIn’s brand positioning, messaging, and thought leadership in the maritime and AI SaaS ecosystem
  • Lead end‑to‑end digital strategy including website experience, personalization, and conversion optimization
  • Partner with Product and Customer Success on go‑to‑market strategies for new offerings and verticals
  • Establish and lead cross‑company processes that enable data‑driven marketing decisions, forecasting, and predictable growth
  • Manage budget, martech stack, and marketing operations with an emphasis on scalability and ROI
  • Champion community‑driven marketing and elevate ShipIn’s voice through compelling content, events, and authentic engagement with industry stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, including 5+ years in senior management roles leading multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Proven track record of scaling marketing organizations in startups through multiple growth stages
  • Strong background in content marketing with the ability to develop impactful narratives and thought leadership
  • Deep expertise in ABM, demand generation, performance marketing, and pipeline attribution
  • Experience leading cross‑functional GTM initiatives and partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success
  • Skilled in building and optimizing martech stacks and marketing operations at scale
  • Exceptional leadership and people development skills; proven ability to build, inspire, and grow high‑performing teams
  • Data‑driven and analytical mindset, combined with creativity and storytelling ability
  • Strong executive presence and ability to represent ShipIn externally with partners, customers, and industry leaders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Maritime industry knowledge is a strong plus
  • Experience launching new products or verticals into global markets
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools and their application in content marketing and demand generation
