We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radio Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for public safety and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Pay & Benefits
Pay Range:
$23.18 - $30.59 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement PayScale) – Starting pay is $23.18 with progression to $30.69 over 10 years.
Benefits:
Vacation up to 25 days per year; Paid Sick Leave 26 hrs for full-time employees after 1st year, progressing to 40 hrs after 3rd year; Medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days; life insurance, 401(k) retirement benefits, and company holidays.
Responsibilities
Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route start time, performance, incidents, etc.
Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips.
Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators, acting as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.
Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.
3-5 years experience dispatching.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
Employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
