This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA, and is fully remote within the US. Travel is expected when needed and local candidates are preferred.

Who we are looking for:
As we continue to grow globally, TriNetX is looking for a designer to join as a full-time UI/UX designer to continue the success of our UI/UX Design team. The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly interpret, clarify, and deliver results for complex design requests. They will have some knowledge of healthcare data analytics, the Drug Development Lifecycle, and the Clinical Trials process. They must have a strong portfolio of work proving their expertise in Figma design systems development and an ability to juggle multiple design projects at one time. They will be passionate about becoming an expert in our platform and the users it supports.
What you will be doing at TriNetX:
• Meet with product managers to evaluate design needs of roadmap items and own responsibility for UI projects
• Complete design tickets submitted from all business units
• Develop, update, and maintain design components in design library
• Collaborate with engineering teams to sync design with engineering components
• Analyze design decisions from a features-level or project-level vantage point as opposed to individual details
• Have in-depth knowledge of design tools and processes
• Ability to defend design decisions
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders on multiple projects
• Proficient with Agile product development processes
Skills/Qualifications:
• BA/BFA in Interaction Design, Experience Design, UI/UX Design, Human Factors, or other relevant degrees or certificates focused on user-centered design and technology
• Proven expertise with Figma and Figma Design Libraries o Reusable components o Strong component design skills, knows how design decisions impact implementation (states, variants, edge cases) o Design tokens
• Proven expertise with design processes and design systems
• Working knowledge with Agile product development processes and tools (Jira, Confluence) • Technical skills required: Figma prototyping and design system management, prepping UI designs for engineering hand-off
• Personal qualities/characteristics - must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly interpret and clarify complex design requests
• Competency with Figma or other design tools, preferably Figma
Bonus points:
• Working knowledge of user research processes and tools (Dovetail)
• Working knowledge of user onboarding processes and product tour development (Intercom)
• Working knowledge of component libraries (Tailwind), and style guide documentation (Storybook)
• Knowledge of React and Tailwind
• Knowledge of ARIA/WCAG best practices
• Understanding of design to engineering hand-off
• Experience with accessibility tools and testing
• Understanding of the Drug Development Lifecycle, Clinical Trials, and/or Healthcare Data
