*Summary*

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team at Cal Tahoe Emergency Services Operations Authority. In this role, you will provide critical pre-hospital care and emergency response services in South Lake Tahoe, playing a vital part in our mission to deliver exceptional medical assistance during emergencies.

*Responsibilities*

* Administer basic life support and advanced life support as needed during emergencies.
* Perform patient assessments and triage to determine the severity of conditions.
* Provide care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
* Assist in transporting patients to hospitals, ensuring their safety throughout the process.
* Collaborate with other emergency service personnel to coordinate effective responses.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills.

*Requirements*

* Current Paramedic certification and state licensure required.
* Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and emergency medical protocols.
* Experience in triage, patient assessment, and administering injections is essential.
* Ability to perform physical examinations and heavy lifting as necessary.
* Previous experience in a hospital or emergency room setting is preferred.
