Overview
CHSN is looking for an entry-level Digital Content Coordinator to help create and manage social and digital content that supports programming priorities and drives revenue. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and embraces a test-and-learn approach.

The coordinator will work across key platforms—Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube—while also assisting with CHSN’s website content and supporting the production of owned podcasts.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the digital content team to produce engaging, conversation-driving social media content that supports programming and commercial initiatives
Assist in implementing the overall social media strategy of the organization, while monitoring content and user engagement for content optimization.
Assist in executing the organization’s social media strategy, including monitoring performance and optimizing content based on engagement metricsCurate and maintain website content including game highlights, podcast episodes, and linear show clips.
Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns with strategic brand partners such as the Bulls, Blackhawks, and White Sox
Curate and update website content, including game highlights, podcast episodes, and show clips
Manage CHSN’s online community and customer interactions across all platforms, including Instagram/Facebook messages, X mentions, and comments
Provide live social coverage for Bulls, Blackhawks, and White Sox games on CHSN-owned accounts
Partner with the sales team to create and execute revenue-generating opportunities through CHSN’s social channels
Support the Podcast Producer in the development and production of CHSN-owned podcasts
Edit and supply content for CHSN’s daily newsletter.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required
1–2+ years of experience in social media marketing and content creation, preferably in sports or entertainment industries
Strong understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube), including best practices and current content trends
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines with a team-first mindset
Excellent creative writing skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail
Flexibility to work non-standard schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to travel for on-site content capture at events and in the field
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop
Positive attitude and eagerness to lead, grow, and learn within the CHSN digital team
Strong knowledge of sports, especially Chicago sports
Baseline knowledge of the Bulls, Blackhawks, and White Sox (preferred)
The total expected compensation range for this role is $40,000 to $50,000 per year, which includes the base salary. Final compensation will be influenced by factors such as the candidate’s skills, relevant experience, degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market conditions, and the position’s location.
