Job Description The Creative Director defines and drives the creative vision for global retail chain’s fashion media on organic social platforms, spanning fashion, beauty, and home. This role leads the creative team to shape ideas that resonate culturally, drive conversation, and elevate Walmart as a Style destination. The Creative Director oversees all creative outputs, fosters a culture of experimentation and collaboration, and ensures the team stays ahead of industry trends. They build strong relationships with cross‑functional partners and confidently present ideas and strategies to stakeholders.
Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team (Associate Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters)
Oversee creative outputs across the Style Social team
Guide creative vision from concept through post‑production
Foster a collaborative, high‑performing culture
Provide mentorship and constructive feedback
Ensure work is strategic, creative, and polished
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Stay current with social media trends and ensure social media is inline
Ability to work across fashion, beauty, and home teams

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience as a Creative Director in agency or in‑house settings
In‑house experience with fashion and beauty content
Strong leadership and partnership skills; ability to lead a team of four
Hands‑on creative skills and deep understanding of social media trends
Portfolio showcasing organic social content creation
Ability to negotiate and pitch work
Experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with both agency and in‑house backgrounds
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, Microsoft Office, Slack
