Position Summary The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the marketing program, establishing and maintaining relationships with customers and referral sources, and responding to requests and concerns. This role also involves negotiating contracts with third-party payers, government agencies, and other entities requesting services. Additionally, the position acts as the Office Manager for the Tecumseh office and may cover caregiver shifts as needed.
Reports To: Administrator
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
Previous experience in healthcare management or marketing, preferably in home health care.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and restrictions in home health services.
Supervisory and negotiation skills.
Organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness, and team orientation.
Essential Functions / Areas of Accountability Manage marketing operations and implement marketing initiatives.
Negotiate contracts with managed care companies, government agencies, and other payers for optimal reimbursement.
Develop systems for market assessment and create marketing plans to meet agency goals.
Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and payers.
Negotiate pricing with insurance case managers and payers within acceptable standards.
Participate in strategic planning to improve services and meet customer needs.
Maintain knowledge of the agency’s market and competitors.
Provide information on community resources to customers and staff.
Contribute to the agency’s annual evaluation in marketing and growth areas.
Prepare reports on marketing activities and effectiveness.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure consistent messaging.
Perform other duties as assigned.
