Growth Marketing Subscription Acquisition Manager
This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.
Summary In this role, you will support subscription growth initiatives across entertainment and sports services. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional partners to drive activation, optimize subscription performance, and contribute to data‑driven acquisition strategies. The position works within a fast‑moving, highly creative environment focused on improving efficiency, alignment, and subscriber outcomes.
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of experience
in subscription, acquisition, or growth marketing
Passion for subscription‑based entertainment or sports products, with a strong foundation in recurring‑revenue models
Proficient in A/B testing, data‑driven optimization, and performance marketing practices
Familiar with cross‑functional workflows across marketing, product, engineering, analytics, design, and partnerships
Skilled in collaborating with large, complex, and time‑sensitive project teams
Able to work independently and manage multiple operationally intense workstreams
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication, excellent documentation habits, and exceptional attention to detail
Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
Job Description In this role, you will drive subscription acquisition and activation strategies across entertainment and sports offerings. You’ll partner with marketing, product, engineering, design, analytics, and business development teams to execute optimization programs, develop testing plans, and support data‑backed decision‑making. This includes building acquisition roadmaps, coordinating cross‑functional efforts, documenting operational workflows, and ensuring consistent execution across channels. You will also maintain ongoing subscription performance insights, contribute to internal marketing resources, and support the broader team’s success through efficient operations and strategic collaboration.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Background in subscription growth, performance marketing, entertainment, media, or technology
Experience working at an agency, media/entertainment brand, or technology company is a plus

The pay for this W‑2 position is
$79.85 per hour
