We are seeking a Technical Designer with 5+ years of experience in the children’s apparel industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garment construction, fit, and specifications, with experience in Girls sizes required. This role requires someone who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring design concepts are translated into production-ready garments. Responsibilities
Create and maintain detailed technical packages (tech packs), including construction details, garment measurements, and BOMs. Partner with design and production teams to ensure accurate execution from concept through final production. Conduct garment fittings, prepare fit comments, and communicate revisions to vendors and factories. Review samples to ensure quality, fit, and adherence to brand standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently with minimal oversight. Maintain consistency in grading, sizing, and quality across all product categories. Stay current with fabric trends, construction techniques, and market standards. Qualifications
5+ years of technical design experience in the apparel industry. Experience in Girls sizing required. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and PLM systems. Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and grading. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
