Position Overview We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our video production team. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with our production team to edit engaging short-form videos for our social media channels. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop, and should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Responsibilities Edit video footage to create engaging, short-form videos for social media platforms Work with the creative team to understand project scope and objectives Apply creative editing techniques, including but not limited to cutting, audio adjustments, color correction, motion graphics, etc. Implement text overlays and lower-thirds to supplement video content Dedication to learning and keep up-to-date with trends in editing, graphic design, and video production Social media management: schedule and post videos Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Preferred Skills and Qualifications Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop Basic understanding of motion graphics (lower thirds, transitions, etc.) Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work well with a team Willingness to be flexible and adapt to change Thorough attention to detail Basic understanding of audio and lighting concepts Organized and deadline-oriented Professional communication skills Experience with Canva and a basic understanding of graphic design Knowledge of media production and communication Social media management experience Experience or interest in other aspects of production Ability to use your initiative and be proactive Technical understanding of computer operating systems, hardware, and software Social Media management experience How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a video reel showcasing your editing skills.
