Job Title: Sr. UI/UX Designer
Clearance Required: Public Trust – Federal Client requires US Citizenship
Work Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities
Analyze database requirements of assigned projects.
Determine information needs, database relationships, attributes, data flow, storage requirements, and reporting capabilities.
Coordinate maintenance and changes to databases using knowledge of database management systems.
Test and implement changes or new database designs.
Write logical and physical database descriptions, including location, space, access method, and security requirements.
Provide direction to programmers and analysts to implement changes to database management systems.
Answer database-related questions and provide technical support.
Monitor databases and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Stay updated on new technology designs and programs related to database management.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of work experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of work experience
Experience/Skills
Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback
Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and mockups
Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components and informational components
Collaborating effectively with product, development, and management teams
Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy
Investigating user experience design requirements for all projects assigned
Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams and storyboards
Creating and helping to enforce adherence to style standards
Keep the mockups updated and improve features
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing a variety of digital work
Understanding of best practices and procedures for UX Design, concepts, wireframes and user flows
Must have experience with web accessibility standards and testing
Knowledge of UI design
Experience with Adobe XD and other design tools
Knowledge of responsive web design
Strong understanding of Scrum & Kanban methodologies
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $85,500 - 120,598. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
