Director, Graphic Design (Direct-to-Consumer Streaming)

Tennis Channel is seeking a hands‑on Director of Graphic Design to elevate the visual identity of our growing direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) streaming platform. In this role, you’ll own the creation, adaptation, and real‑time updating of graphics that power our live tennis experience across iOS, Android, smart TVs, and web. You’ll collaborate closely with our app and product teams to ensure seamless design integration, drive workflow automation to accelerate delivery, and support rapid‑turnaround needs tied to live events. As the platform scales, this role will expand beyond production into broader creative leadership – ideal for a designer with strong sports, entertainment, or streaming experience and the ability to bring static assets to life through motion graphics.

This is onsite and based in Santa Monica, CA.

In this role, you will:

  • Define, create, produce, resize, and optimize graphics for the DTC platform, including event promotions, highlights, and editorial content in the visual tone of Tennis Channel’s brand.
  • Adjust visuals in real time to match live schedules and updates.
  • Design graphics for emails and landing pages to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and app teams to ensure graphics integrate smoothly as the platform evolves.
  • Help automate workflows and streamline asset delivery for faster turnaround.

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands‑on graphic design experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Experience designing for multiple platforms (mobile, TV, web) and email clients.
  • Knowledge of Figma is useful and will be needed for some aspects of collaboration.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles and accessibility standards (WCAG) a plus.
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus for workflow automation.

Tennis Channel is proud to be an equal‑opportunity employer and a drug‑free workplace. Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by virtue of an applicant's or employee's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, military or veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full‑time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
