Merrill Morris Partners (MMP) is a progressive Woman Owned Landscape Architectural and Urban Design firm with offices in San Francisco and Oakland.MMP is seeking a creative and natural team-oriented individual with A&E industry experience who brings an insightful, and proactive approach to marketing and business development.
The Marketing/Proposal Manager is responsible for the development and coordination of all marketing material for MMP’ pursuits, web site and social media. This is an outstanding career opportunity to exercise your talents. You will use your knowledge and skills to lead/manage proposals and associated support activities (e.g., writing, editing, schedules, team communication and coordination), as well as graphic production of brochures, marketing collateral, and presentations.MMP’ intention is to empower you as an integral team member bringing a fresh sophisticated style and professional perspective to MMP’ design studio and pursuits.
Education, experience, and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, english, journalism or related field
- Strong, creative and strategic writing and communication skills
- Experience managing marketing projects independently, working closely with senior leaders to champion marketing programs and strategic team development
- Production of A&E industry proposals and responding to concurrent RFP/RFQs
- Demonstrated organizational skills, time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign), and Microsoft Office
- Database/CRM management and/or experience working in VantagePoint (Deltek)
General duties and responsibilities include:
- The foundational part of the job is the ability to understand an RFP and/or the client/prime consultant requirements; write responsive and persuasive narrative; and know how to story tell, communicate and to present strong differentiators.
- Manage pursuits, deliverables, and schedules
- Develop, edit, and finalize quality marketing-business development materials and brochures
- Coordinate key staff’ and other design members firms
- Refine maintain up-to-date marketing materials, including project descriptions and images, cutsheets, firm profile, resumes, statements of qualification, brochures, etc.
- Marketing file management, keep marketing assets and databases up to date
- Conduct research on upcoming projects and solicitations (track and report)
- Supports website and social media.
The position is full-time with potential for a hybrid schedule.
