Overview

Workstyle: This is a remote position; however, to be eligible for hire, candidates must reside in a state where Custom Ink is registered to do business as an employer. Eligible states currently include: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV.

Reports to: CRM Marketing Manager

Travel Expectations: Minimal travel; may include occasional trips for key meetings, collaboration opportunities, or area‑connected events.

Physical Requirements/Demands: Primarily sedentary, home‑based role requiring the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer. Standard office equipment usage is required, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

What we’re looking for

1–3 years of hands‑on experience in CRM or data‑driven marketing, with a focus on email, SMS, or Direct Mail.

Familiarity with CRM platforms: Email Service Providers (ESPs) and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, and Salesforce.

Understanding of how AI can be leveraged for tasks like content generation, audience segmentation, and predictive analysis.

A basic understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and testing methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to pull reports and analyze data to surface key insights.

Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive, reliable, and detail‑oriented mindset.

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

What you’ll do

Campaign Execution: Create and deploy email, SMS, and Direct Mail campaigns, ensuring they are accurate and consistent with the Custom Ink brand. You will be responsible for setting up campaigns, managing assets, and scheduling sends using our CRM platform.

Customer Data Management: Maintain and manage CRM segments and customer profile data to ensure accurate audience targeting and personalized messaging.

Reporting and Analysis: Support campaign measurement by pulling reports, gathering and analyzing performance data, and identifying key trends. Your work will support our ongoing efforts to optimize the customer journey.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams like Site and Sales to help draft creative briefs and provide customer insights, ensuring our marketing initiatives are customer‑centric.

Testing Agenda: Accurately set up and report A/B and multi‑variate test results that inform creative and segmentation strategy.

You’ll directly support the execution of campaigns that help customers celebrate milestones, unite teams, and build communities. Your work will ensure that every message we send is timely, relevant, and helps strengthen the connection our customers feel to the Custom Ink brand.

Compensation

Salary: $57,000–$65,000 per year. Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, years & depth of experience, and equity with internal team members.
