Performs temporary, instructional‑related activities at the direction of a licensed staff member.

Essential Functions

Reports consistently for work as scheduled.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards.

Assists the licensed staff member with assigned tasks.

Completes non‑licensed instructional responsibilities.

Displays personal and professional qualities that promote a safe and caring environment conducive to student learning such as maintaining confidentiality, collaborating with staff, accepting constructive feedback, being a positive role model, treating others with respect, etc.

Meets the identified learning needs of assigned students as directed by a licensed staff member.

Works collaboratively and cooperatively with instructional staff and others in completing responsibilities.

Physical Demands

Sits, stands, walks, stoops, kneels, and crouches/squats while performing duties.

Has oral and auditory capacity enabling interaction interpersonally and/or through communication devices.

Uses eyes, hands, and finger coordination enabling the use of equipment and writing utensils.

Typical demands require staff to lift and carry up to 20 pounds; may include climbing stairs, ladders, and/or stools; reaching, holding, grasping, and turning objects; operating computer keyboards; feeling the shape, size, and temperature of objects.

Cognitive Functions The staff member may be required to analyze, communicate, compare, compile, compute, coordinate, copy, evaluate, instruct, negotiate, synthesize, reason, and use interpersonal skills.

High school graduate – high school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation & Benefits

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 (per part‑time status).

Hours Per Day: 7.5 hour(s) per day.

Number Of Days Per Year: 183 days (M‑F).

Benefits Eligibility: Under Part‑time – Ineligible.

FLSA Status: United States of America (Exempt).
