Provides quality education and maintains high standards of academic excellence in teaching assigned courses at Strayer University. Adjunct faculty in this hybrid role teach in person and asynchronously online, and maintain assigned office hours.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Teach graduate level Marketing courses as assigned, using a pre‑designed curriculum.
Deliver 11 in‑person sessions (2 hours each) each week, arriving at least half an hour early, and provide the remaining course content asynchronously online.
Utilize technology and videos to enhance curriculum effectiveness.
Support students via email, phone, text, and office hours, ensuring timely feedback and academic success.
Establish clear learning objectives and evaluation criteria.
Adhere to university policies, procedures, and attend faculty meetings, workshops, and required training.
Job Skills
Proficiency with academic technology and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication and oral presentation skills.
Effective time management and organizational abilities.
Work Experience
Twelve‑month college‑level teaching experience, preferably with online instruction.
Five years of professional experience in Marketing or a related field.
Experience in International Marketing or Social Media Marketing is highly preferred.
Education
Doctorate in Marketing or a Marketing‑related concentration.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Professional certification in a discipline specialty, if applicable.
Other Job Requirements
Must be able to travel weekly to the required location(s).
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Typical office setting; mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required.
Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
Compensation $2,300–$2,600 is the expected starting pay per online assignment, and $3,000 is the expected starting pay per on‑campus assignment per quarter. If your location is near a campus, on‑campus teaching may be required.
