Bandana is currently live in 7 cities (NYC, LA, SF, DC, SD, CHI, Seattle) and is experiencing rapid expansion. Growth and user acquisition are driven primarily via social channels (Instagram, Tik‑Tok, Reddit, etc.) with a robust media team that consistently delivers viral content.

Duration of Role / Location
Full‑time on the media team, starting mid/late October or early November. Based in Brooklyn, NY; in‑person candidates only, expected to be present 5× a week.
About the Role
Content creation powers our mission. We’ll create content for specific U.S. cities, be the first point of contact for city‑based users, and ideate new formats like animation, skits, and documentaries. We look for creators who can grow a page from zero.
Responsibilities
Creating Job Videos: Produce quick, high‑quality videos promoting job opportunities across channels.
Searching for Job Opportunities: Scout Bandana.com and top employer job boards for fresh listings to share on social media.
Creating Engaging Social Media Graphics: Design graphics highlighting job opportunities, apprenticeships, training, with a focus on pay transparency.
Manage and Post Content: Schedule and post on all socials, respond to interactions, flag/resolve account issues.
Test and Ideate New Distribution Channels: Explore animation, skits, mid‑form documentaries with the team.
Monitoring Analytics: Track views, followers, clicks to Bandana.com; learn from shortcomings to hit growth goals.
Data Gathering: Find and validate salary/payroll data, reading contracts or using spreadsheets.
Supporting Productions: Coordinate shoots, assist with camera or talent coordination.
Cross‑Team Collaboration: Work with the Growth Team to boost virality and convert posts into ad content.
Requirements & Skills
Channel Growth Experience: Built or significantly grew a page with viral content and a large following.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
Great Speaking Skills: Comfortable on camera, concise and engaging.
Content Creation: Script, shoot, edit social‑media videos; skilled with Adobe Premiere, CapCut.
Graphic Creation: Experience with Figma, Photoshop, or similar.
Standout Skills
Skit Writing: Write witty jokes and short episodes about jobs.
Acting: On‑camera presence in skit‑based content.
Graphic Design: Create graphics from scratch that engage audiences.
2D/3D Animation and Drawing: Produce animated graphics or characters for watchable videos.

Interview Process
Coffee chat: 25‑30 min video or phone conversation with Paulo.
Take‑home Assignment: 1‑2 hr assessment mirroring day‑to‑day work.
Interview(s): Review of take‑home and personal fit interview with 3‑4 people; office day required.
Location & Work Policy
Based in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY; in‑person only, 5× a week.
Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000, plus lunch, gym stipend, Citi Bike membership, and fun activities.
