About This Role Rowan's Piercing Studio Nurse, reporting to the Studio Manager, is dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and joyful ear‑piercing experience. Your nursing expertise will be used to perform piercings with care and precision while building trust and excitement for every customer. Responsibilities Customer Service Create magical customer experiences by combining top‑notch clinical care with a celebratory atmosphere during each piercing session. Ensure customer safety, comfort, and smooth flow of care. Communicate confidently, clearly, and professionally with clients throughout their piercing experience. Educate customers on after‑care and promote Rowan's After Care products. Conduct thorough ear evaluations to find the perfect earring placement and offer personalized styling advice. Monitor the customer experience, quickly addressing and resolving any issues to maintain clinical standards. Maintain a sterile and aseptic environment at the nurse station and on the procedure tray. Studio Support Collaborate with the Studio Manager to keep operations running smoothly and foster a joyful atmosphere. Fill shifts as needed and maintain flexibility. Mentor and train new nurses, including shadowing piercing services and observing customer interactions. Report operational concerns promptly and work with management to resolve them. Inventory and Supplies Ensure all piercing stations, including the nurse cart, mayo stand, and nurse nook, are stocked and ready for customer needs. Sterilize jewelry and needle piercing instruments to maintain safety and cleanliness. Studio Operations Follow state, federal, and CDC guidelines closely to ensure a sanitary and safe piercing experience. Sales Support studio metrics, including revenue growth, piercings per hour, increased average order value, and overall sales. Promote Rowan After Care and hypoallergenic non‑piercing jewelry to encourage healing and additional revenue. Reporting and Communication Address and escalate operational concerns promptly, ensuring clear communication with management and the team. Qualifications Active RN or LPN/LVN license Professional and engaging customer care approach Warm, friendly, team player with an entrepreneurial spirit Excited to create celebratory, memorable experiences for customers Skilled in providing both technical and non‑technical information to customers and community members Interest in a retail environment with sales goals Obsessive attention to detail Availability for a flexible schedule, including peak times, holidays, and weekends Open to all experience levels; newly licensed nurses welcome. Training in pediatrics and/or ear piercing is a plus. Dedicated to delivering exceptional service and maintaining a safe, clean environment for every customer Benefits and Perks Compensation: $24 per hour + 100% of earned tips; full training may add up to $25 per hour in tips.
