Job Description and Position Requirements The Penn State Alumni Association is seeking a talented and experienced multimedia designer. This part‑time position will be situated within the Marketing and Operations unit at the Alumni Association and will involve providing designs to support the alumni association's mission of connecting alumni to the University and to each other, providing valued services to members, and supporting the University's mission of teaching, research, and service. Responsibilities Work within project teams to understand marketing goals and audience needs and translate requirements into effective design solutions. Conceptualize, develop, and produce design solutions that meet project goals across a range of platforms, including websites, social media, email, digital banner ads, presentations, and print channels. Provide updates to existing visual designs, including resizing graphics for use on new platforms. Understand University and Penn State Alumni Association brand standards and adhere to, and reinforce, standards within design work to ensure brand consistency. Coordinate design reviews and respond to feedback throughout the review process while maintaining best practices. Qualifications Creative professional with the ability to succeed in cross‑functional, fast‑paced teams with multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and complexity. Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in multimedia design or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrable experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Provide a link to a digital portfolio for review as part of the application.
