The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Information Technology (IT) Cybersecurity Specialist supporting the Director and Program Managers by providing a secure environment and information assurance for protection of our sensitive information and assets.

Our IT/Cyber specialists solve highly complex problems and take part in a variety of projects to promote national security through nuclear deterrence. They decide what needs to be done, make sure it happens, and solve the most complex, high-risk aspects of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) program - America's Nuclear Triad.

- This may be a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.
- Work may occasionally require the employee to work outside the normal business hours, such as overtime or an irregular work shift.

- Employee may be required to travel occasionally away from the normal duty station in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
- Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) certification and meet APDP continuing education requirements.
