Producer, Creative Services - Spectrum News

Part of Charter Communications, Spectrum News produces original, unbiased, high‑quality local and regional news across TV, app, and connected television platforms. The role involves creating, writing, editing, and producing on‑air advertising campaigns and commercials from concept to final cut, in close collaboration with the Creative Services Director and the News and Graphics Department.

Base Pay Range

$54,960.00 – $87,840.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, script, edit, and produce radio and television commercials and online concepts.
• Plan sponsorships and promotional positioning, ensuring alignment with network programming.
• Produce compelling, timely, and accurate content intended to engage and connect with the local audience.
• Work collaboratively with a creative team across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Television news or production experience – 2+ years.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Marketing, or related field preferred, or comparable work experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro; working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects (a plus).
• Exceptional organizational, multi‑project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to shoot, direct, and elicit cooperation from a wide range of sources, including upper management.
• Willingness to travel within the community to discover stories.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as deadlines require.
