Overview The AV Systems Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functionality of audio-visual systems across the casino, hotel, and event spaces. This includes configuring, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting end users. Reporting directly to the AV Supervisor, the technician will work closely with the team to maintain system performance and prioritize guest service, both external and internal.
Responsibilities
Configure, install, troubleshoot, repair, and support all AV systems and peripherals including PCs, speakers, LED displays, TVs, amplifiers, RF equipment, network hardware, cabling, control systems, IPTV, fiber optics, digital signage, and AV software.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot modern television and audio systems.
Maintain AV equipment inventory and manage replacements.
Support back-of-house AV systems, conference rooms, and training rooms.
Assist with special event systems, entertainment, marketing, and media systems.
Maintain a professional appearance as per non-uniformed standards.
Stay updated on emerging technologies through reading, training, and conferences.
Work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call rotations.
Ensure safety and security for guests, entertainers, and staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong time management and teamwork skills.
Experience with AV setup and maintenance, hardware installation, and guest service.
Proficiency with AV control systems, IPTV, and relevant certifications (preferred).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
Technical degree or certification preferred.
1-2 years of AV experience.
Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses as required by regulatory bodies.
Physical Requirements
Lift and push up to 80 lbs.
Work standing for extended periods.
Work in confined spaces, reach above head, and work from ladders.
