Student Employment - Student Marketing Assistant
ECU Department of Student Health Services (SHS) is currently seeking a student Marketing Assistant. SHS provides on-campus comprehensive medical services for enrolled students. In addition to primary care, SHS offers lab, pharmacy, radiology, sports medicine, integrative behavioral health, nutrition counseling, immunizations, travel clinic consultations, Campus EMS, and more. We care for the medical needs of students as well as raise campus awareness about health issues, promote student well-being, and educate on how to access services across our division.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist with marketing efforts to increase SHS visibility and promote health and well-being education, including creation of a marketing planning
Create and schedule social media content for SHS Facebook and Instagram, including stories, posts, short videos, and on-site event coverage for specific health awareness activities
Create print materials for bulletin boards within SHS
Create and distribute flyers inside SHS and across campus to promote SHS activities and information
Develop a photo library of stock images to use in SHS marketing efforts
Promote health awareness months and SHS events
Create content for Parent Portal and Student Affairs On Deck newsletters
Availability: Expected work hours per week: 15-18hrs. Schedule: Position is on site at Main Campus SHS . Majority of work would be during SHS business hours M-F 8am-5pm; days/times are flexible. There may be occasional programming/events outside of business hours. This position will pay $12.00 per hour.
Preferred Candidates
Experience with social media content creation
Experience with Canva, Adobe, or other design applications
Requirements
Junior, senior or graduate student in Marketing or Communication area of study
Good academic standing
