Overview
Audio Visual Technician – Bring Live Events to Life at our client in the Big Apple!
This is a full-time, long term position onsite at our client in New York City.
What You’ll Do
Be the AV powerhouse behind live events, meetings, and conferences.
Operate cameras, audio gear, mixers, and videoconferencing tools like a pro.
Direct multi-camera productions and edit footage into polished final products.
Set up ad hoc studio environments and troubleshoot tech like a boss.
Ensure all systems are ready to roll – test, maintain, and perfect every connection.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to bring their vision to life.
Train new technicians and help shape an organized, smooth-running AV operation.
What You Bring
Experience as a Technical Director for live, multi-camera productions
Pro-level skills in videography, audio engineering, and studio operations
Mastery of audio mixers (Dante), editing software (Premiere), and control room systems
You’re fluent in both Mac and PC systems and understand AV tech like second nature
A knack for creative problem-solving and staying calm under pressure
A client-first mindset—you're as good with people as you are with gear

Physical Requirements The physical requirement of this position is sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Salary: $90,000 - $102,000 depending on experience
