Date Revised: 3/2022 Primary Purpose:
The Technology Education Teacher shall, under the direction of the Principal, provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. They enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Qualifications:
(Only those persons who meet the minimum qualifications as posted should apply) Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited University Valid Texas teaching certificate in Technology Education OR currently enrolled in an Alternative Certification Program (ACP) and can demonstrate competency in Arts/AV & Graphic Design Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of core academic subject assigned General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills Experience: At least one year student teaching or approved internship
